Together with Instacart and State Representative Donna Bullock, the Metropolitan Area Neighborhood Nutrition Alliance (MANNA) hosted a December pie drive to spread additional holiday cheer to those in need by donating MANNA pies to local community organizations. More than 2,000 pies were donated to organizations, including Bethel Presbyterian Church and Community Partnership School, serving community members throughout the city and region. 

The December Pie Drive began on Monday, December 18th, when local organizations who serve folks in need across the region picked up MANNA pies to distribute among the communities they serve. The Pie Drive continued on Tuesday, December 19th when Representative Bullock and MANNA staff distributed additional pies to local organizations.  

“We were so grateful to have the opportunity to partner with Instacart and Representative Donna Bullock to help MANNA spread additional love and nourishment to our neighbors this holiday season through a December Pie Drive,” said Sue Daugherty, CEO at MANNA. “This drive is an extension of MANNA’s Pie in Sky event, held annually in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving.
