Legacy Giving
Legacy giving helps ensure the future of MANNA beyond your lifetime, while costing you nothing today. By including a charitable contribution to MANNA in your will or estate plans, you join other members of the MANNA Legacy Society in a lasting commitment to our mission of providing nourishing, medically tailored meals and nutritional counseling to our neighbors in need.
What is the MANNA Legacy Society?
The MANNA Legacy Society recognizes individuals who have included MANNA in their long-term financial plans through bequest provisions in their wills, trusts, life-income gifts, or other deferred gifts. These planned gifts ensure the organization’s fiscal health for generations to come.
As a token of our immense appreciation for those who make legacy gifts, all members of the MANNA Legacy Society will receive a commemorative pin of the logo pictured above and will be recognized, if they wish, with a plate on the MANNA Legacy Society donor wall in our facility.

No matter your stage in life, it is never too early to create a will or trust to provide for your loved ones and the causes important to you. To make this process simple, MANNA has partnered with FreeWill, a free and secure online tool that guides you through the process of creating or updating your will in 20 minutes or less. If you have already included MANNA in your will or further estate planning, please fill out this form to let us know! We would love to thank you for your generosity and welcome you to the MANNA Legacy Society.
If you have an IRA, 401(k), life-insurance policy, real estate, or any other assets not included in your will, these beneficiaries for these non-probate assets must be planned separately.
35 for 35 Legacy Challenge
We’re celebrating our 35th anniversary since our founding in 1990 with a challenge for our supporters: secure MANNA’s future by including MANNA in your long-term financial plans. Between now and August 1, 2026, our 35 for 35 Legacy Challenge is looking for 35 people to name MANNA in their wills, estate plans, or other long-term financial vehicles. For each legacy pledge, a group of generous donors will make a $1,000 cash donation to MANNA.
As of January 2026, we have 12 legacy pledges and $12,000 donated to MANNA. Email Amy Mansky at amansky@mannapa.org if you’re interested in adding to our pledge total for the challenge!

How will MANNA use my gift?
- MANNA’s General Fund – Support our daily work providing medically tailored meals and nutritional counseling for people with chronic illnesses in our region.
- Director’s Innovation Fund – Support special projects outside of our daily work that can advance our mission in innovative ways.
- MANNA’s Endowment Fund – Support our investment fund that serves to provide long-term stability for MANNA and helps advance our mission in perpetuity.
- The MANNA Institute – Support research and evaluation efforts that serve to demonstrate the impact of our food as medicine programs.
