Every year the months before the fall holidays are devoted to our largest fundraiser – Pie in the Sky. MANNA sells thousands of pies to individuals and companies, with ample opportunities to get our sponsors’ names before the media. Pie in the Sky helps MANNA extend its mission to those who are critically ill by funding our mission in the most delicious way possible!

On Thursday, September 26th, MANNA celebrated its 4th annual Main Course event at The Switch House by Cescaphe with over 300 attendees dining and dancing the night away in support of MANNA’s mission. Chef Chairs Amanda Shulman of Her Place Supper Club and Alex Kemp of My Loup prepared delicious entrées and curated a stellar line-up of 16 amazing chefs who prepared a variety of delicious, stationed appetizer and dessert courses for all to enjoy; the incredible Martha Graham Cracker entertained the crowd; and a raffle and live auction helped to raise much-needed funds to support MANNA’s year-round meal delivery and nutrition counseling program. MANNA’s eight delivery trucks play a vital role in delivering nourishment to MANNA clients. Last year MANNA trucks drove approximately 100,000 miles – that’s the equivalent of driving around the earth more than four times – and made more than 90,000 deliveries to clients in Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey.
